Dandelion Bites

Jack and I were outside tonight enjoying the warm weather and playing in the yard. I was showing him the dandelion and there was a bee on one of them. I told him to be careful because bees "bite" and it hurts. He misunderstood and for the rest of the evening he looked like he was walking through a minefield avoiding the "biting dandelions." Guess he didn't see the bee.

Watch what you say around children!

Jack has picked up many of the phrases we say around the house. It's so cute to hear him repeat us throughout the day. He is this fun stage right now and has the most amazing personality. He has a sense of humor (didn't know they did at 18 months), he is so smart (learning to recite his ABC's right now), he is the most stubborn (besides me) and obedient child all at the same time, and he has the cutest fake cry ever! Here are a couple of the phrases he has picked up from us-

~HOOONNEEYYY!!!! This is what he yells when he is looking for Corey. (picked that one up from me)

~Go! He says that to the dog when she is getting on his nerves.

~Moof! That's MOVE. He says that to Bella also when she is in his way.

~ETTT Go! That's telling us to "let go". Also picked this one up from me. He likes to old onto the the vacuum cord and I usually tell him to let go. Now he says this to me all day when I try to take something from him.

~Hey Baby! Haha this one makes me laugh. This is what I say to Corey. It's so cute to hear this come out of his mouth. We will eventually have to teach him that this is not how you talk to girls...

Blackberry Pie
